All work was successfully  completed by 8.45am.

As part of our planned maintenance we are upgrading the operating system code of the campus network switches in Dalhousie Building on Thursday, 20th December. All network access (PC, wireless and telephony) will be affected as we reboot each switch to complete the process. Switch reboots will start at 7am and be complete by 7.30am.

Issues accessing Student Management System – No: 54455

Normal service is resumed on the Student Management System.

Update 4th December 3.15pm

This service has been stable and showing significant improvements since changes were implemented on Friday. We are continuing to monitor this issue.

Update 3.15pm – 28th November

There is an issue with our filestore cluster resulting in intermittent loss of connectivity to the cluster resources. This means that users may be unable to access file stores and applications and it may impact on login, depending on which resources are having issues at time of attempted login. We are closely monitoring the services.

Our technical team advise us that after initial technical investigations we are in now in the process of implementing a change to the filestore cluster to stabilise this service.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

Planned Maintenance: DHCP Migration – No. 53906

Update 9.30 am

This migration has now been completed.

The next phase of the staged DHCP migration will be implemented on Thursday 6th December, 8 – 9 am.

Buildings affected will be:

  • Main Library Offices (IT Suites will not be affected)
  • Fulton Building
  • Ewing Building
