Resolved: Connectivity Issue – Network – No 58490

Update 11.30am

The fault was traced to a network subnet in the Tower building and service has been restored. Investigations are continuing to identify the root cause.

The issue appears to relate to network connectivity in the Tower building and is being worked on.

Some users are experiencing difficulty connecting to systems this morning – we are investigating and hope to restore service to all users soon.

Planned Maintenance: Core Equipment Room power outage – Reference no.58163

On Tuesday, 5th March, between 8.00am – 8.30am, Estates and Buildings electricians will undertake electrical maintenance to the mains power supplies for one of our Core Equipment Rooms. This work will be carried out during the scheduled maintenance period.

We do not expect any interruptions to service as our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units will maintain power to equipment via battery backup.  However, services should be considered ‘at risk’ while this work is being undertaken.
