Planned maintenance: Migrating subnets to BlueCat DHCP – Reference No. 60675

This work has been successfully completed

We will make a network change that will affect staff in Ninewells (subnet 224) between 8:00 and 8:45 am on Friday, 29th March, 2013.

During this time Users should not experience any disruption, however, all ICS network services in this location should be considered at risk while this work is carried out.

If a networked PC or printer is disconnected during this time, then restarting it should restore network connectivity. If this does not resolve the issue please contact Service Desk quoting incident number 60675

About migrating our subnets to BlueCat DHCP: This work is changing a component of the network to provide a more resilient service and an efficient way of managing the space we have on our network for devices. At the same time we will be enhancing security on this aspect of the service.
