Issues accessing Box on NHS network

Students and staff were reporting issues with attempting to access our new file store, sync and share service – Box – via the NHS network.

NHS blocking has occurred in instances where the user has attempted to access Box via the commercial website instead of by means of our secure custom domain.

UoD members are advised to reach the Box platform either by:

  • Using the following url – or
  • Using the Box icon shortcut if on the student/staff desktop

Resolved – Issues accessing shared drives – Ninewells & Mackenzie Building

We are delighted to say that the Medicine Storage Area access was restored at 7pm this evening. Apologies for the outage.

Users are currently experiencing issues access shared network drives at Ninewells and in the Mackenzie Building. Our technical team are working to resolve this and hope to restore servces to you just as soon as possible.

Planned Maintenance: University of Dundee 4 Learning website

On Thursday 26 March between 4:30-5:00 p.m. Idox Software will be upgrading the University of Dundee 4 Learning website.

Access to the Student Funding service website may be limited during this period.

Please note the website does not use the University’s Active Directory (LDAP), hence users are required to register for a new account.
