UNIFI Services Unavailable Wednesday 1st August 2018 – COMPLETE

Due to planned system maintenance, all Unifi services (including Medblogs login applications) will be unavailable from approximately 12:00pm, on Wednesday 1st August 2018.

All Unifi services should be available again by 3:00pm, at the latest, but the rest of that day and evening should be considered “at risk”.

If you try to access one of the Unifi services whilst the system maintenance is in progress, you will be redirected to this status page.

Once the maintenance is complete, this status page will be updated to confirm this.  (There will also be confirmation added to the pages of each of the Unifi services).

If you try to access one of the Unifi services after the maintenance is complete and:

  • continue to be redirected to this status page – please restart your browser and try again.
  • you see an error page – please clear your browser cookies for and try again.


Update (01/08/2018 @ 14:00): The system maintenance is complete and all Unifi services are available again.  If you experience any difficulties, please follow the instructions above.

Release of examination results: July 2018

It is University policy to not display any assignment, exam, or module results during examination periods and prior to examination boards. Therefore, students will not be able to view results for some modules during the Resit Examination Boards (13 July – 20 July).

Results are due to be released mid-afternoon on Friday 20 July 2018.  Information will be posted on the University’s @onedundee social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) once the results have been released.

This does not apply to students in Schools where the Examination Boards have already met, the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, students on distance learning courses, and certain taught postgraduate courses.

If you have any questions about your results you should contact your School in the first instance.

Questionmark OnDemand

Questionmark OnDemand will be updated on Saturday 21 July between 07:00 and 13:00.

During the time above, staff authoring assessments and students taking assessments will experience service disruption. This also includes assessments taken through MyDundee that use the Questionmark OnDemand service.

This update will ensure the ongoing reliability, security, and uptime of the platform.

Current Issue with Student Printing

We have identified an  issue with Student Printing and are currently working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If you have attempted a print job then you will not be charged and if you believe you have been, please visit the Main Library IT service point.

Essential Work on Network Cabinets in Matthew Building Level 6 on Friday 13th July (Morning)

Estates and Buildings need to carry out some essential maintenance work on one of the network cabinets on level 6 of the Matthew Building. This will affect Architecture and Urban Planning staff.
This work is being carried out at 8am tomorrow (Friday 13th July) morning.
The disruption will be approximately 1hr, and during that time the network switches will be down. That will mean no wired (including phone) or wireless networking in the vicinity for the duration of the work.
UoD IT are working with Estates and Buildings on this and will be on hand to make sure there are no issues once the cabinets go back on line.
UPDATE: All work completed and network is running normally again.
