Service Maintenance: OPD Self Service

Due to essential maintenance, the Organisational and Professional Development (OPD) self-service function is expected to be unavailable until towards the end of the day, Monday 29th April.

If you have any issues, please contact OPD@dundee.ac.uk 

Please note: OPD require sufficient notice of cancellation and non-attendance to allow others the opportunity to attend these workshops, or to allow the workshops to be cancelled if insufficient places are filled. If you are unable to access the self-service function please contact OPD-Secretary@dundee.ac.uk during this period of down time to notify them of your intended absence.

P3 – Scheduled Maintenance

P3 is available again – the scheduled maintenance is now complete.

Normal service with COGNOS has also been resumed.

P3 is undergoing essential maintenance today and is currently unavailable to users. Please note, that this includes COGNOS reporting in relation to the packages using HR data from P3.

iGRasp (jobs.dundee.ac.uk) – Essential Maintenance/Security Update – this coming Friday (02:00 – 04:00 GMT)

SABA/Lumesse (the providers of the iGRasp application) will be carrying out essential maintenance/security update to the iGRasp environment this coming Friday, between 02:00 – 04:00 GMT.

The result is that iGRasp will be unavailable for up to 15 minutes during this maintenance window.

Please note that this will affect BOTH the administration aspects of the application which iGRasp users interact with, and also the front end websites which our candidates interact with. Due to the minimal downtime (15 minutes), a message will NOT be displayed to candidates on the front facing web pages. Should however you receive any queries or complaints from candidates as a result of this, please raise them via the route noted below.

iGRasp – Essential Maintenance – 27 February 2019 (18:00 – 22:00 GMT)

SABA Lumesse (the providers of the iGRasp application) will be carrying out essential maintenance to the iGRasp environment on Wednesday 27 February 2019, between 18:00 – 22:00 GMT.

The result is that iGRasp will be unavailable for up to 60 minutes during this maintenance window.

Please note that this will affect the front end websites which candidates interact, a message will be displayed on the front facing web pages.

iGRasp – Essential Maintenance – 7 September 2018 (23:00 – 02:00 BST)

Lumesse (the providers of the iGRasp application) will be carrying out essential maintenance to the LIVE iGRasp environment on Friday 7 September 2018 between 23:00 – 02:00 BST.

As a result of this, i-GRasp will be unavailable for up to 10 minutes during this maintenance window.

Please note that this will affect BOTH the administration aspects of the application which iGRasp users interact with, and also the front end websites which our candidates interact with. Due to the short downtime window, there will be NO message displayed to candidates on the front facing web pages. P3 – Scheduled Maintenance, 5th January

UPDATE – This work is now complete.

P3 will be unavailable on Friday the 5th of January as we will be applying a patch to the application.

Please do not login to P3 on the 5th of January. You will be advised via email when you can login again.

We are confident that the work will be completed on the 5th of January and that you will be able to login as usual on Monday the 8th of January, however, please do not login until you have received an email advising that it is OK to do so.

iGrasp on Chrome

We have been advised by Lumesse (the providers of iGRasp – the University’s eRecruitment application) that they have had several reports of issues with pop-up windows showing blank pages. They have been able to identify that this was only happening in some versions of Google Chrome. On further investigation, they have identified that this was caused by an update made by Google, and unfortunately this had an impact on the iGRasp product.

As a result, if you are using Google Chrome and have experienced this issue then please update your Google Chrome Browser.

Could you also please:

 

  • close all chrome windows
  • go to task manager to make sure there are no chrome processes running
  • then re-launch it

i-GRasp (eRecruitment application) update

i-GRasp will be unavailable for up to 4 hours on the evening of Wed 28 Jun between 18:00-22:00 to allow for an update to be applied.

What impact will this have?
You will be unable to login to the application during this time. Lumesse (the providers of iGrasp) will be displaying a maintenance page during this period of downtime, which will remain in place should the work extend beyond 22:00.
