The issues affecting network connectivity within Dalhousie this morning (Monday 30th October) have been identified and resolved with full restoration of service.
Service Restored: We are currently experiencing some network connectivity issues in the Dalhousie building affecting both PC’s and telephony. The team are currently investigating the issue and have identified a problem. Further updates will be issued as soon as we have any more information.
UPDATE: MANTIS is now operational again.
What is happening?
We have been advised that the MANTIS service is experiencing login issues at the moment.
Who is affected?
All users of MANTIS will be unable to login to the service.
What are UoD IT doing?

We are currently experiencing a power failure at West Park Conference Center & Residencies and The Botanics Gardens – Electricians are on their way and we hope to have this resolved just as soon as possible

We are aware that there is an issue with students (applicants) who are experiencing difficulties when trying to activate their University of Dundee IT accounts for the first time – this has been raised with our technical support team and is being investigated.

The password self service on https://passwordchange.dundee.ac.uk is currently down. We are investigating the cause and hope to have the service resumed as soon as possible.
If you require your password reset, please telephone or visit the Service Desk to have this done.
We are aware that some users are experiencing a problem with Firefox (where it is crashing) and we are monitoring and investigating the issue.
For the moment we advise anyone experiencing issues with Firefox to use Internet Explorer as an alternative browser.
