Update 22nd April
This issues has now been resolved. Please contact Service Desk if you are still experiencing any difficulties with this service.
The work to improve the storage capacity is continuing. The initial technical work has been carried out and we are now in the process of re-calibrating the storage disks. This is still having an impact on storage responsiveness but this will progressively improve thoughout the next day or so.

Update 15th April
We are still awaiting delivery of the final components to enable us to carry out the necessary remedial work and we plan to undertake this work as soon as possible – hopefully tomorrow evening.
Whilst we will work to keep disruption to a minimum there may be intermitten loss of access to network storage – these interruptions should be of short duration. Once the work is completed there will a period of storage fine-tuning which may cause some slowness.
We apologise for the inconvenience and can assure you we are working to fully restore normal working.
Update 11th April
We are investigating reports of poor performance. Working with our suppliers we have identified an issue with the storage arrays that support most of our services. Today our suppliers made an immediate change and we are now closely monitoring the situation and affected services.
We will continue with our program to add performance and capacity to the storage arrays. Equipment has been purchased and our supplier is in the process of confirming a delivery date. We will contact you prior to implementation.
